In 2004, Donna left the public school teaching profession to devote her energy and talents to teaching agility. Her agility students frequently comment that it is this “teaching skill” that makes her a successful instructor. She frequently attends seminars and workshops to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and has successfully brought those techniques to her students.

Donna has achieved the highest titles in USDAA and AKC agility, and currently competes with Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Border Collies. She has qualified, competed, and reached the finals/challenger rounds at both the AKC and USDAA National Agility Championships.  In 2010 she competed with 2 border collies and a corgi at the USDAA Nationals and made tournament finals with each dog.  In 2014 Donna and Lark placed 4th at the AKC Agility Nationals in Harrisburg, PA.

Donna excels at bringing training techniques to her agility students and places emphasis on the handler-dog relationship. She has many students who came out of Novice A/Starters classes, and are now competing successfully in Excellent/Masters classes. Numerous students have earned their MACH/ADCH titles and have competed at the National level.
