Branchwater facilities include both an outdoor ring and and indoor artificial turf ring. We offer a number of group classes with excellent experienced instructors, and several well-respected local trainers also rent the Branchwater facility for group classes and private instruction.

Advanced Masters Level

USDAA Masters

This class uses USDAA level equipment and performance requirements on the theory that if you train to this level, you will be better prepared for all forms of agility. Weekly drills and coursework for Masters Challenge level and AKC Premier handler and dog skills. Not limited to – but particularly appropriate for – AKC and USDAA-focused Advanced and Masters-level students.

Foundations of Agility

Dogs entering this class should have basic obedience (sit, down, stay, and recall) in a distracted environment. Dogs must be 6 months or older and be physically sound. Subject to discretion of the instructor.

This class is designed to provide young and/or inexperienced dogs a positive introduction to agility. The goal is to enhance the connection between you and your dog through an engaging learning process while providing the tools needed for agility training. This includes introducing beginning obstacle skills and basic handling maneuvers. An emphasis will be placed on building focus, confidence, and motivation.

Session II

Wednesdays 2:30-3:45

Beginning Agility (Beyond the Basics)

This class is designed for the dog/handler team who have completed the foundations class or equivalency. This class will build on the foundation skills and equipment knowledge with an emphasis on strengthening the successful progression for each obstacle.

Starters and Advanced Level Agility

Starters and Advanced Level Agility is a class for those who have completed the  requirements of the Introduction to Agility class or have been pre-approved by the instructors.  This intermediate class will build on the foundation skills and equipment knowledge developed in the Introduction Classes. We will increase and solidify the dog’s confidence on the contact obstacles and work on building sequences.

The Starters and Advanced Level classes are currently open to those already in the class. Please email nwoodside20@gmail.com to be placed on a waitlist.
