Branchwater has been breeding Border Collies for herding and agility since 1980 beginning with Jiff ABC 10842 (pedigree) and BWShearersNan ABC 11476 (pedigree)
Over the years a stable foundation of females and selectively chosen sires has been built to produce well-rounded pups.
We only breed dogs that meet the following requirements:
- 2 years or older
- Have had their hips x-rayed and pass OFA Certification (offa.org) with an Excellent, Good, or Fair rating
- Either be CEA/CH and CL normal by parentage or be tested (optigen.com).
Additionally, all studs have an AKC DNA test done.
Branchwater pups can be found nationwide and have excelled in numerous areas including herding and herding trials, agility, flyball, Frisbee, k9 units, and pets on wheels.
