Branchwater has been breeding Border Collies for herding and agility since 1980. Over the years a stable foundation of females and selectively chosen sires has been built to produce well-rounded pups. Before breeding a dog they have their hips x-rayed and checked by the OFA (offa.org) to breed a dog it is required that they have fair, good, or excellent hips. All studs have a DNA test, and all dogs are tested for CEA/CH as well as CL (optigen.com). Branchwater pups can be found nationwide and have excelled in numerous areas including herding and herding trials, agility, flyball, Frisbee, k9 units, and pets on wheels.
