To determine which class would be the best fit for you and your dog please read the description of each class.
Classes can be held in our Training center (turf area), Blue Room (blue mat flooring), or outside in our training fields. Where classes are held is dependent on instructors and weather.

Requirements for training
At Branchwater we have a list of required vaccinations for boarding and training. Those vaccines are as follows: Rabies, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Distemper, hepatitis (adenovirus -2 and -1), parvo, parainfluenza (abrev: DHPP or DA2PPV), and Leptospirosis Vaccine.
All students are required to provide us with proof for the above listed vaccinations before attending any classes on the property.

Obedience Fundamentals
Obedience Fundamentals is for all age puppies and dogs. We emphasize the benefits of socialization and focus on basic home issues. We will work on basic commands over six weeks. To move on to the Beyond the Basics class you most have completed all of the basic skills taught and be approved by the instructors.

Beyond the Basics
Beyond the Basics is for all age puppies and dogs that have completed Obedience Fundamentals, or been approved to move into the class. This class works on more advanced skills that are essential for all dogs; both show and pet.

Invaluable Skills
Invaluable Skills is for approved dogs who are ready to move towards more formal and show obedience. Dogs will be practicing skills with many more distractions and in new locations. This class works on more advanced skills that are essential for all dogs; both show and pet.
Prerequisite: Approval by the instructor.

Obedience with Cindy Hill
All classes are 45 minutes in length.
Star Puppy and CGC certificate testing available.
In case of questionable weather, consult website or text me. Decisions will be made for ALL classes by 8:30 am.
Puppy Kindergarten
Puppy Kindergarten is for puppies up to the age of 5 months. We emphasize the benefits of socialization and focus on basic home issues including house breaking. We will work on basic commands over six weeks. Puppies will work towards completion of the AKC STAR Puppy certificate.

Basic Obedience
Basic Obedience is a class for dogs 5 months and older, teaching basic obedience commands, including but not limited to – sit, stay, heel, come, stand, sit/stay, down/stay. At the end of this class dogs should be able to complete the AKC title of Canine Good Citizen.

Advanced Basic Obedience
Advanced Basis class is for dog who have completed a basic class successfully. Dogs should be able to heel, stay and come in a group of dogs. Curriculum will include off lead heeling, long recalls and off lead stays.
